Enrollment in Conservation Reserve Program or CRP: The Conservation Reserve Program or CRP is a voluntary program that focuses on planting poor or erosion-prone farmland to trees, grasses or other species that will improve environmental health and quality. In addition to providing rental payments, the program will also share the costs of implementing these revegetation and restoraton practices. The CRP general sign ups runs Jan. 4 through Feb. 12.
