The Dane County Broadband Task Force has been meeting since summer and is working on recommendations to improve broadband access in Dane County.  

In order for communities to receive grants to expand and improve broadband access, accurate maps showing internet speeds are required. We need better data to show the need in rural areas.  

Please complete this speed test and share it widely to contribute to this effort.  It’s easy and takes only a minute or so.

They are also working to improve broadband infrastructure and identify areas that are underserved and will share the data with the Dane County Task Force.
