Notice of Public Hearing on a Proposed Boundary Change Agreement (Lincoln Road): To View Resolution: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED BOUNDARY CHANGE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF OREGON AND THE VILLAGE OF OREGON (RELATED TO LINCOLN ROAD)                                                                                                                PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the town board of the Town of Oregon will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, to discuss and act upon a resolution approving an intergovernmental agreement between the Town of Oregon and the Village of Oregon.  The agreement provides for a boundary adjustment between the Town of Oregon and the Village of Oregon (transferring part of Lincoln Road from the Town to the Village).  The hearing will be at the Town of Oregon at 1138 Union Road, Oregon, Wisconsin.  A copy of the resolution and the intergovernmental agreement is available at the Town Clerk’s office at the Town Hall.   Jennifer Hanson Town Clerk                                                         Posted                              8/8/19 Class 1 Notice Published    8/15/19   Note:  Agendas are subject to amendment after publication. Town of Oregon Noxious Weed Notice




Notice is hereby given to each and every person who owns, occupies or controls land in the Town of Oregon, Dane County, State of Wisconsin, is required by law to cut or destroy all noxious weeds, including all Canada thistle, leafy spurge, and field bindweed (creepin Jenny) before such weeds bloom, bear seed and spread to adjourning properties, as required in Section 66.0407 of the Wisconsin States Statutes.

If property is found not in compliance with the above Notice, the Town of Oregon shall issue an Official Notice stating that action must be taken within five days of the written notice or the Town of Oregon will destroy the weeds at the responsible person’s expense.
